    STEP 2: HOMEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS

Once the examinations are completed, the external influences are minimized, and the patient's symptom complex is as defined as possible, the stage has been set for actually treating the patient.

Therapy may be approached through the application of various medical modalities. Some of these modalities are more consistently deeply curative than are others, some are more easily comprehended and applied than others, some are governed more by universal law than others. This is when the training, the bias, and the skills of the practitioner must direct the management of the case.

The bias in this practice is to use Homeopathy as the therapeutic choice for patients. No other medical modality is as elegant, as deeply curative, as consistent, or as grounded in universal law as is Homeopathy. (Link to Intro to Homeopathy)

Using only four basic rules, Homeopathy can treat any set of symptoms in any species under any circumstance, without having to make exception or vary the rules.

    These rules are:
    • The Law of Similars - Like cures like (Link to Like Cures Like)
    • The use of only proved medicines(Link to Proven Medicines)
    • The totality of symptoms in the patient as a guide for remedy selection (Link to Law of Totality)
    • The use of single doses of single remedies to treat the totality of the patient(Link to Single Medicine)
The use of ultradiluted medicine is normally associated with the practice of Homeopathy but is not an essential element in the use of Homeopathic therapeutics. These ultradilutions are used to increase the effectiveness of the therapy while reducing the risk of side effects. (Link to Ultramolecular Medicine)

Homeopathy is not for everyone. We live in a sound bite, fast food, one-size-fits-all society. Homeopathy requires dedication, patience, and understanding on the part of all parties involved. This is a small price to pay for the opportunity to help your pet live without the constraints of chronic disease.
